Student-Community Ministries and its campus organization, SCC: Student Community at Covenant, provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for the college students that surround The Church of the Covenant (Presbyterian, USA). We encourage students' spiritual, emotional and intellectual growth through volunteer opportunities and open discussion groups on faith and life challenges, along with our shared meals and other social events which help students to meet each other. We offer students tools to embrace their own faith journeys and to apply Christian traditions to today's fast-changing world. Our goal is to build a strong community of students, congregation members and Covenant staff for mutual support and connection with the surrounding campuses.
SCC is recognized by the Undergraduate Student Government of Case Western Reserve University (USG), is open to ALL students and sends weekly e-newsletters which offer moral support and keep students informed of upcoming events and service opportunities.
